The FAQs of Life.... My Life, That Is
- Who Are You?
- What is Jervicious?
- Are your photographs available for purchase?
- What is the best way to get in contact with you?
- Canon or Nikon?
Short answer? My name is JR. More lengthy response? My name is JR Walkenhorst. I am a San Diego native. I was born and raised in El Cajon. I am currently residing in the Mission Valley area. I am a 1982 baby. My ultimate passion is photography and capturing the beauty within everyone. It is my desire to have that portrayed through this website. I am a geek by night and a creative genius 24/7. Don't believe me, ask around.
II.Ah, Jervicious. Let's take a walk down memory lane. Jervicious is simply a nickname that was given to me by some dear friends during one of our very random evenings. See, I cannot reason their logic on "How" it came about, but can tell you that it sprung from the initial nickname, "Jer".... a simple combining of the letter J and the letter R to form one word. Get it? Yeah, neither do I, but I still love them none-the-less. Due to this nickname sticking, I felt it only appropriate to make use of it; alas we have JERVICIOUS.COM. Savvy? Now, we have come to this DOTCOM. Jervicious.com is a website to display my works and services as a professional photographer. Within my gallery here, you will find an assortment of photographic styles. Most of my work is done with people as the subject, but I have set up a section titled "Misc." that will have something of everything else ranging from sunsets and scenic protraits to flowers and macro photography. Check it out!
III.Yes, all photos have a limited availability for purchase. If you see an image within my Archive, there will be a link for you to select to purchase this photo. This will then send you to a form to fill out some information and submit it. Once you have submitted it, I will receive an email indicating your interested in a print. There, I can send you an electronic bill via email for you to either pay online, or if local, to mail\personally deliver. Once payment has been received, I will then mail the print, unless local.
IV.Email is the best way for you to contact me about purchasing prints, getting on board for modeling with me, scheduling a photo session for personal pictures, or interested in other wedding\event services.
V.Ha! The debate over Canon or Nikon will never conclude, so I am not going to even sport a side. I use Nikon. I have grown accustom to their layout and functionality, so it would be a bit of a learning curve for me to switch. Why switch when you are good with one brand? My thoughts exactly!
